Mindfulness Meditation:
No BS Sit

(In Person and Online via Zoom)

This is a straightforward group dedicated to the practice of mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool that can benefit our lives in countless ways. This group will be a weekly workshop where we can meditate, learn together and deepen this foundational practice.

 

Group schedule:

 

Refuge and Bodhicitta/setting intention 5 minutes

Sitting meditation 20 minutes

Walking meditation 10 minutes

Sitting meditation 20 minutes

Q&A or discussion 1 – 30 minutes, as necessary

When: Tuesdays, 8:00 – 9:30 PM (EST)

Next 6-week session: March 19 to April 23, 2024

Where: In person at Gaden Choling and online via Zoom

21 Praises to Tara
(on Zoom)

Every Monday morning at 10:00 AM EST with members of the Sangha

​

We would like to invite you to a 21 Praises to Tara chanting practice (in Tibetan), no prerequisites, language knowledge or experience necessary. Via Zoom, weekly, drop-in sessions on Mondays from 10 to 10:30 AM EST.

 

A PowerPoint of the 21 Taras will guide the practice, with illustrations by Niels Petersen and voiceover of Venerable Zasep Tulku Rinpoche leading chanting from a retreat recording. Participants will be muted and can choose to join along at their own pace by following the slideshow with Tibetan transliteration.

Chittamani Tara Generation Stage Sadhana Practice
(on Zoom)

For initiates who have received Chittamani Tara empowerment from a qualified teacher.

 

We meet via Zoom on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 8:30 - 10:15 AM EST.

​

The first half hour focuses on workshopping the Sadhana and supporting each other to better understand the practice. Senior students of Zasep Tulku Rinpoche are invited to participate and help answer questions.

​

The last hour and 15 minutes is dedicated to practising the Long Sadhana (2007; version 1.4) together. We finish with recitation of Rinpoche's Long Life Prayer.
