Zasep Tulku Rinpoche’s new book on Buddhist Protectors is now available for sale.

A beautifully illustrated hardback volume of 470 pages, the book has been lovingly compiled by Rinpoche over the last two and half years.

The book is a useful guide for Western practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism, helping them to a better understand these important but often misunderstood practices. Praises, supplications, history and background are provided, along with 24 pages of beautiful colour illustrations, many especially created for Rinpoche’s book by artist and Dharma teacher, Ben Christian.

There are descriptions and practices of 21 important Protectors of Tibetan Buddhism including Mahakala, Palden Lhamo, Ekajati, Kalarupa, Pehar-Nechung and Dorje Shugden.

Quoting from the book, Rinpoche explains: “The three jewels of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha are certainly our main source of protection. However the Dharma Protectors provide daily assistance and protection on the human, level which can be very helpful. We human beings have lots of needs and lots of problems. In this age, these obstacles are growing daily. Dharma Protectors took vows to help sentient beings on this human level, alleviating and smoothing out our everyday struggles.”
